Abstract: The construction leading the Huanghe river water into Qingdao is an important building project that the goverment of Shandong province sets up in order to ease the shortage of water in agriculture,industry and peo-ple's daily necessity in Qingdao-a coastal industrial city.It is another lo-ng and large size engineering project after the construction leading the L-uanhe river water int Tianjin. In order to give this 80's engineering project the 80's level of techno-logy,we apply CAD as a new technology in the tichnieal constrnction de-sign to one of the intersecting structures with transporting river-the inve-rse suction pipe over Xiao Qing He. The whole process is realized on the IBM-PC/XT.The results obtain-ed can be used directly in the construction.
