Abstract: On the basis of an energy method proposed in 1, this papei discusses he axisymmetrical plastic bucking problem of a circular conical thell under taxial impulsive loading and obtains the expressions for the critidal velocity and buckling mode, also, these results are compared vith shose obtained in 1 for the cylindrical shell.
