Abstract: This paper presents a spline Gauss collocationmethod to analyze the static problems of stif-fened plates and shells with various constrainted conditions.The bicubic B splines are used as coordinate functions to formulating the problem based on energy principles using the technique of piecewise Gause integration collocation.Some examples are solved in the paper.The accuacy of the results is compared with those calculated by other methods and found to be in good agreement.
