Abstract: The authors summarized various execuhve methods for ductile fracture assessment such as EPRI assessment dingam method for stability analysis, PD6493/91 tanged method of failure assessment diagram, the maximum value method of adrissible str6sses and the intersechon point method of (J～T) curves in PVP codes.By inveshgahon, the authors propose that the maximum value method of adrissible stressesis the optimi zation method and may be recommended in practice for it can assess the ductile fracture of smictures more precisely. On the contrny, the intersechon POint method of (J～T)curves will produce lnger deviation due to itss improper executive riotion For the intersechon method, specialist must pay close attention to its use.
