THE ENGINEERING ASSESSMENT METHOD FOR LBB STABILITY ANALYSIS IN PRESSURE VESSELS AND PIPES

  • 摘要: 本文依据文献1所建立的管道环向裂纹在简单加载下的撕裂失稳与塑性失稳应力的近似关系式,构造了复合加载下撕裂失稳与塑性失稳应力的工程近似关系表达式:并针对4种材料、40种裂纹构形工况,进行了失稳评定计算:经与文献2提出的精细分析方法所得的结果对比,一般偏离不超过4%,满足了工程评定要求,鉴于LBB稳定性分析的工程估算方法易于被非专业人员掌握和接受,并能省时省力,预计将能对LBB评估技术的发展起重要的作用。

     

    Abstract: Based on the engineering approximate relation. in reference 1,between tearing instability stress and plastic collapse stress under simple loading for circumferential throughwall crack of pipes, a new approximate relation between them under combined loading is established. By the new approximate relation, the engineering assessments for 4 materials and 40 crack configurations and loading status are carried out. The results are in agreements with those of precise analgtical method in reference 2. It is believed that the new engineering assessment method can certainly play an important role in LBB stability analysis for pressure vessels and pipes.
