THREE DIMENSIONAL 2-DIRECTION & 3-DIRECTION MAPPED INFINITE ELEMENTS

  • 摘要: 不同于以往的单向映射无限元,本文提出了一种能分别从两个和三个方向延伸到无穷远的多向映射无限元,它们不仅能很好地与三维等参数有限单元耦合,保持公共边界的连续性,而且具有物理概念明确、节点数目少、精度高、无需改动单元形状、减少计算准备工作量、便于网格自动形成等诸多优点,能广泛应用于岩土工程领域及其他力学问题的数值分析工作中.

     

    Abstract: Differing from conventional single-directional mapped infinite elements, this paper presents a new type of multi-directional mapped infinite elements which extend to infinite in two or three directions. These elements not only can be coupled to 3-D isoparamteric finite elements, but also have many advantages, such as explicit physical concept, little node number, high precision, unnecessarily changing element shape, and convenient to automatic mesh discretization. They can be extensively used in the field of geotechnical engineering, engineering mechanics and so on.
