CELL-SIZE EFFECT ON MECHANICAL PROPERTY OF OPEN-CELL ALUMINUM ALLOY FOAM

  • 摘要: 在分离式霍普金森压杆(SHPB)和MTS810材料试验机上对多组孔径、多组密度的开孔泡沫铝合金(AA6101)材料进行了准静态与动态压缩实验研究。泡孔尺寸不仅影响着材料的屈服强度和塑性模量等,还影响着材料的应变率敏感性。另外,不同孔径的泡沫铝合金有不同的理想吸能效率。

     

    Abstract: The cell-size effect on compressive properties of aluminum alloy foam is analysed. A variety of experiments on AA6101 Aluminum Alloy foam, which includes 4 densities and 3 cell-sizes, are carried out under dynamic loading on SHPB and quasi-static loading on MTS 801, respectively. Cell-size has a significant effect not only on the crushing stress and plastic modulus of aluminum foam, but also on the strain-rate sensitivity of material of this kind. Energy absorption efficiency is also investigated in the paper.
