A QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF CITATIONS, AUTHORS AND FUNDED-PAPERS IN ENGINEERING MECHANICS

  • 摘要: 运用文献计量学的方法,通过对全国中文核心期刊——《工程力学》近10年(1994~2004年6月)所发论文引文(包括引文的数量,语种,类型分布),作者(包括作者的系统、地区、合作类型分布)及基金论文(包括基金论文的数量, 获基金资助的数量,资助机构分布)的定量分析,客观揭示该刊在我国学术界的整体水平及重要影响。

     

    Abstract: This paper is intended to make a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the leading periodical Engineering Mechanics (in Chinese) over the last 10 years (1994-June, 2004). The analysis is focused on a variety of aspects of citations, such as quantity, preferred languages and catalogues. In addition, the author background (their occupations, origins and types of collaboration) is also of concern. Due attention is paid to the funded papers, including their numbers, the size of those funded, and the organizations that supply the funds. The efforts of the paper aim to objectively evaluate the overall academic level of the periodical as well as its impact on the Chinese academic sphere.
