A METHOD FOR CALCULATING LATERAL PRESSURES ON SQUAT SILO WALLS

  • 摘要: 大直径浅圆仓仓壁压力的计算是工程界十分关心的问题,到目前为止,尚没有合适的计算公式,仍处在探索阶段.采用散体力学方法,将Coulomb理论中破裂面的思想应用于散体贮料,建立了一种浅圆仓散料侧压力分析的力学模型,即取仓壁后滑动楔体为研究对象,考虑其平衡(忽略散料与仓壁之间的摩擦力),得到总侧压力的表达式,通过求其极值,找到散料破裂面方位和极值侧压力,假设此压力为线性分布,从而得到不同高度处侧压力强度的计算公式.此公式计算结果与实测值吻合良好,且由于考虑了高径比的影响,适用范围较广.而现行规范浅仓公式(Rankine理论)计算结果较实测值偏大,且由于其与高径比无关,过于粗糙.文中分析了贮料顶部锥堆时的三种工况.

     

    Abstract: Big diameter squat silo is a type of large-capacity storage structure. The lateral pressure on walls of the silo caused by stored bulk materials is studied. A model based on the granular theory for the pressure calculation is developed. It is assumed that there are a wedge of material on one side exerting a maximum thrust on the wall and a plane called the plane of rupture on the other side. The effect of friction between the granular particle and the wall is negligible and the normal wall pressure is assumed to vary linearly with depth. The lateral pressure formula for squat silos is obtained. The results agree with that of the full-sized silo experiment better than the current code (Rankine theory) which may overestimate the pressure. The present model is widely applicable because it depands on the internal angle of friction of bulk solid and height/diameter ratio. Three cases with a top pile are discussed.
