DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR STUDY ON ELECTRICALLY EXCITED THICKNESS-SHEAR PIEZOELECTRIC ACTUATOR ON THE SURFACE OF AN ELASTIC STRUCTURE

  • 摘要: 该文对粘贴在各向同性半平面结构表面的高频激励厚度剪切压电驱动器所产生的波传播特性提供了一种实用的解析与数值的分析方法。首先选用压电驱动器振动模式为厚度剪切模式,而驱动器下的半平面弹性体波传播的解析解则根据弹性力学应变积分求位移特解的方法得到,然后根据边界条件得到了整个结构中波传播的求解方案,通过数值模拟计算了半平面体上表面水平位移的分布特性,并讨论了几何参数、材料组合、加载频率对驱动器所产生波传播损耗量的影响规律,最后通过实验论证得到理论计算与实验结果非常接近,从而说明了数值分析的可靠性。

     

    Abstract: This paper provides a practical analytical and numerical method on the propagation property of wave in an isotropic elastic half-plane body induced by a surface-bonded thickness-shear piezoelectric actuator under high-frequency electric loads. At first, the thickness-shear mode is studied as a piezoelectric actuator vibration mode, and the analytical solution for the propagation of elastic wave in an elastic half-plane body induced by the piezoelectric actuator can be obtained by using integration of the normal strain. Then, the responses of the solution inside the piezoelectric actuator and in the half-plane body are obtained according to the boundary conditions. The distribution characteristics of horizontal displacement along the upper surface of the elastic half-plane body are analyzed, and the effect rules of the geometric parameters, the material combination, the loading frequency upon the wastage of wave propagation are also discussed. Finally, the theoretical results accord with those from experiments very well, which can explain the reliability of numerical analyses.
