A DAMPING MATRIX IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR VICIOUS DAMPING STRUCTURES

  • 摘要: 阻尼是结构动力学分析的重要参数,对阻尼矩阵的估计一直是动力学建模的难点。该文提出一种适用于粘滞阻尼体系的阻尼矩阵识别方法。该方法的一个优点是能够考虑阻尼矩阵中非零元素的不同分布形态;另一个优点则是应用有限的低阶实测模态可相对准确的估算结构的阻尼矩阵,从而更好的适应目前只有有限的低阶模态能够相对准确测得的现状。该文采用5自由度的弹簧-质量-阻尼体系验证方法的正确性与有效性。数值结果表明:1) 该方法能够很好的匹配任何一阶或多阶所关心的实测阻尼比;2) 应用有限的低阶实测模态时可相对准确的估算结构的阻尼矩阵。

     

    Abstract: Though damping matrix estimation is a choke point for dynamic modeling, it is an important parameter for structural dynamic analysis. In this paper, a damping matrix identification method for vicious damping structures is proposed. An advantage of this method is that different manners of nonzero values in damping matrix can be considered, and the other is that real damping matrix can be estimated reasonably utilizing the first limited lower order frequencies and corresponding complex mode shapes, which can adapt to the status that only the first limited lower order modes can be measured in field. A 5-DOF spring-mass-damping system is employed to validate the proposed method. Numerical results indicate that: 1) the resulted damping ratios can match perfectly with the measured values by employing the proposed method, and 2) a real damping matrix can be estimated reasonably by utilizing the first limited lower order frequencies and corresponding complex mode shapes.
