EFFECT OF MESO-STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS ON MECHANICAL PROPERTY OF STITCHED COMPOSITES

  • 摘要: 通过分析缝合层压板的细观结构特征,研究纤维面内弯曲形态对复合材料面内刚度的影响。缝合复合材料细观结构特征主要包含纤维弯曲角度、纤维弯曲长度、纤维弯曲区域宽度、缝线等效直径和树脂填充空隙五个参数。利用图像处理软件对不同缝合密度和缝合角度的复合材料富树脂区张开角度和宽度进行定量测量和统计分析,并建立五个特征参数之间的关系,作为代表体元分析法的基础假设。建立三维有限元单胞模型分别预测了缝合复合材料单向板及缝合复合材料层压板的刚度性能,与试验结果进行对比,表明该模型可以较好地预测缝合材料的刚度性能。

     

    Abstract: The influences of the fibre waves on in-plane properties of stitched composite were studied through analyzing the meso-structure characteristics of stitched laminates. The five characteristics parameters were fibre wave angles, lengths and widths of wave regions, the diameters of stitch lines, the gaps between resins and fibres. The angles and widths of resin-rich areas of the composites with various stitch densities and stitch directions were measured and statistically estimated by image analytical software. The relationships among these five parameters were constructed and to be the basis of a representative unit cell. A three-dimensional finite element model was verified to predict the stiffness of stitched laminates with 0°, ±45°, 90° plies.
