LOCATION VECTOR METHOD TO SOLVE THE LARGE DEFORMATION OF TRUSS STRUCTURES

  • 摘要: 提出了一个求解桁架结构大变形问题的新方法:按变形后的平衡位置建立平衡方程,以该位置时各铰链(节点)处的位置矢量(而不是位移矢量)为基本未知量进行求解。该方法的基本步骤与现行有限元方法是基本一致的,但组建的不是刚度矩阵。通过编制通用程序,该方法可求解任意桁架结构的大变形问题。实例表明:该方法效率很高,而且可以获得非常精确的计算结果。

     

    Abstract: A new method solving the problem of the large deformations of truss structures is presented. The method establishes the balanced equations according to the location of the equilibrium position after the deformation is complete, and uses the location vector (rather than the displacement vector) of the hinge (node) as the basic unknowns. The basic steps of the method are fundamentally the same with the existing finite element method, but the matrix formed is not the stiffness matrix. Through the development of common procedures, the method can solve the problem of the large deformations of an arbitrary truss structure. The examples show that the method can be very efficient, and the results can be very precise.
