SIMULATION OF SAND COVER BY MESHFREE PARTICLE METHOD

  • 摘要: 沙漠公路作为现代物流、信息流的主要运输手段之一,在沙漠地区的经济发展中发挥着至关重要的作用。沙埋是沙漠公路的主要沙害形式,该文根据风沙流所具有的气固两相流耦合的特点,运用光滑粒子流体动力学(SPH)方法对不同路堤高度沙漠公路的沙埋现象进行二维数值模拟,获得了不同风速下沙粒在公路上的分布特征,从而提出合理的沙漠公路路堤高度的设计方法。结果显示SPH方法在风沙流的数值模拟方面具有十分优越的特性。

     

    Abstract: As one of the main transportation means of modern material and information currency, the desert highway plays an important part in the economic development of desert regions. The sand cover is the major sand hazard form in the desert highway. The smoothing Particle Hydrodynamic (SPH) method was employed to carry out two dimension numerical simulation to the sand cover with different embankment heights in desert highway in this paper according to the coupling characteristics of gas and solid phase flow in wind-blown sand. The distribution characteristics of the sand grains on the highway under different wind speed were obtained, and the logical design methods for determining the height of embankment of desert highway were presented. The results show that the SPH method has the superiority in simulating the wind-blown sand.
