DYNAMIC MATRIX PREDICTIVE CONTROL FOR VIBRATION REDUCTION OF SPATIAL RETICULATED STRUCTURES WITH TIME DELAY

  • The presented paper focused on the vibration control of the spatial reticulated structure with time delay. The composition of time delay was investigated. Based on the dynamic predictive control method, the predictive control model and optimization strategy were constituted, and an improved method for the vibration control of the spatial reticulated structure with time delay was put forward. Finally, some principles for choosing control parameters were discussed. Moreover, taking Schwedler reticulated shell structure with and without time delay as an example, a series of computations and comparisons of the vibration control strategy were carried out. It is shown that the dynamic matrix predictive control method is suitable for the vibration control of spatial reticulated structures with time delay, and the prediction for aftertime outputs and the determination of sampling periods play a key role in the vibration control of the structural system with time delay.
