  • This research aims at the active vibration control for piezoelectric intelligent structures. Fuzzy logic control rules are established by the basis of the analysis of the motion traits of cantilever beams. Based on the tradition fuzzy logic controller, the paper proposes a new fuzzy control strategy, which uses the displacement and the velocity of cantilever beam tips as inputs, and the control force on cantilever beams as outputs. The proposed method can save the time to obtain inputs, and get the better effects than the method which uses the acceleration as well as the rate of cantilever beam tips as inputs. The simulation results illustrate that the proposed method has a better control performance than existing methods.
