ANTI-ABRASION TEST OF EROSION AND DENUDATION RESISTANT CONCRETE

  • Erosion and denudation tests of different fiber concretes were conducted, then, impact and abrasion tests of pavement concrete using anti-eroding testing devices were carried out. Through analysis, erosion and abrasion mechanisms of fiber concrete were studied. The results show that rigid-rod fiber concrete possesses a strong anti-eroding & denudation ability; basalt fiber concrete possesses the highest ability of anti-impact & abrasion; while polypropylene fiber concrete possesses both anti-eroding & denudation and anti-impact & abrasion properties, which can be applied to protecting highways from erosion of water disasters and used in hydraulic concrete project of building traffic pavement bridges.
