  • This artical applies Finite Element Method to analyse the thermoelastic stress problem of axisymmetric combination rotors with tight-fit. First of all,Finite Element Method is used to compute individually the thermoelastic stress ef each axisymmetric rotating body under free condition. Graphic method is then used to plot the displacement—loading diagrams and locate the coordinated point of deformation.At last the given tightness is applied and the thermoelastic stress of axisymmetric rotating bodies With tight fit under actual conditions is obtained. The application of a corn bined method of Finite Element analysis and graphicrepresentation is simple in principles and easy to use. This method prove practical and is being in engineering practice.
