THE STATIC AND DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF CONTINOUS BEAM ON CONTINOUS BEAM ON EIASTIC SNPPORTS OR EIASTIC FOUNADTION

  • Deformation prvpagation method is used in this calculation. According to the beam end conditions, two initial variables are adapted to berived the propagated formulas by conjugate beam method, These formulas are used to calonlate internal forces and deformations at each support step by step. The initial variables are determined by end conditions at the last support. For dynamic analysis, each spar of continuous beam may be seperated in ten parts which are assumed to be supported by virtual elastic springs whose elastic constants are zero. The internal forces due to vertical deformations of beam are assumed to act on actual and virtual supports. This method may also be extended to analysic beams on elastic foundation. These computations maybe completed using PC. 1500 computer.
