Second Qrder Analysis of Coupled shear walls

In this paper, a second order analysis procedure is presented for the analysis of coupled shear walls under lateral and vertical Loads, Based on the continuum technique, the governing differential equalion is derived. The finite difference method is used to solve the governing differential equation. For this purpose, a computer program has been compiled and several numerical examples have been worked out. The results are compared with those found out by first order technique.
