  • The test results of a residence building of framed structures with light—weight panels in Beijing factory of new type materials, and the simplified analytical methods for free vibraLions of preeast R.C. frame—shear wall structures are briefly introduced in the paper. Based on that the shear deformation and bending deformation are all considered for frame—shear wall structures,the formula for calculating free vibrations of such structures are found.It is very simple and convenint to apply these formulae to dynamic analysis of such buildings.The computed results show that the first frequency of free vibrations of the test building is decreased by 6.60% due to the effect of shear deformation.
