Point Intensity Method of Solving Circular Plate Resting on Elastical Subgrade

  • In this paper,the point intensity method of solving circular plate resting on elastical subgrade is put forward,and the deflection,bending moment、shearing force of plate under arbtrary loads are numerically calculated successfully.This paper has given the numerical results which varies with different position of concentreted force、characteristic length Li.e 4√D/k and Poisson's radio μ. Compared with accurate solution,the relative error is less then 0.007%.By the numerical results we have obtained one conclusion that when the stiffness of subgrade K satisfies the inequality k4,both results of plate resting on the base and on nothing are very close.Some curves of deflection have been drawn up,and numerical results have been provided in the paper,which suit civil engineers for reference.
