THE SOLUTION FOR BENDING PROBLEM OF MID-THICK PLATES BY THE BOUNDARY COLLOCATON

  • Using the boundary collocation solves the bending problem of rectangular plates with shear deformation, It not only uses the result of Analysis method effectively, but also has the advantage of the discrete computing method. Under the uniform load action, the algorithm example for four sides simply supported, four sides fixed supported, two opposite sides simple supported and two opposite side fixed supported is presented: The algorithm shows that its accuracy is high and the computalion amount is decreased. It can use the microcomputer to solve problem, and it is of great value to engineering application. In addition, the path for solving-problem about other supported condition and load case is also presented in this paper.
