A SIMPLIFIED METHOD FOR SHALLOW SHELLS WITH SIMPLE SUPPORTS BY BEM

A very simple method is suggested in this paper to analyze shallow spherical shells, especially when simply supported boundary is considered. Numerical example shows that the approach developed in the paper is effective.
