APPLICATION OF GENERALIZED FUNCTION TO DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THICK PLATES

In this paper,the derivative ofδ-function is handled by using the generaliz-ed function.The dynamic analysis of thick plates subjected the concentrat-ed load is preseted.The improved Donnell's equation of thick plates is de-duced and employed as the basic cqua'ion.the general expression for the dy-namlc response of elastic thick plates subjectcd the concentrated load are given.The results are compared with those obtained from the improved the-ory and the classical theory of plates.The method presented in this paper may be extended to the Physical and geometrical nonlinear dynamic analy sis of thick plates and the interaction of thick plates with contineous med-ium.
