  • The vibration characteristics of the domped plate Composed of an elastic metal layer and unconstrained viscoelastic layer has been studied in this paper. The formulas of flesual stiffness,loss factor and the differential equation of vibration wore derived The natural frequences, fundamental loss factor and the deflection of the Centre of the plates of all edges simply supported have been Calculated. The figures of modal shapes were presented. Experimental measurements have been done. The experimental and theoretical results are compared, they are identical basically.
