  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an expert system in Dam Engineering. This paper describes an expert system called PESDE system. Its task is an application research of personal expert system in Dam Engineering. Which is contents three sub-expert systems. These three sub-expert systems are called CDT system, CGDPD system and SAGD system. Their tasks are the choice of the dam type, concrete gravity dam profile design and structural analysis of the gravity dam.
