THE CALCULATION OF STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS OF NOTCH IN TWO DIMENSIONAL BI-MATERIAL

In this paper, the expression of stress and strain at the tip of a two-dimensional notch is derived. Singular stress element near the tip of notch is constructed by Sub-Region Mixed FEM. The conventionaldisplacement elements are distributed over the outer region of the singular element. Stress intensity factors of notch with different angles and different ratios of modulus of materials are calculated.
