A NEW WEIGHTED EQUIVALENT LINEARIZATION TECHNIQUE FOR THE SOLUTION OF NONLINEAR RANDOM VIBRATION

  • A new weighting function is suggested in this paper, and with help of it a new weighted equivalent linearization technique is presented.The numerical results of several kinds of nonlinear random vibration systems show that the mean square responses of the proposed approach are much closer to the exact solutions or Monte Carlo solutions, than that obtained from the other methods.
