ANALYSIS OF SEISMIC RESPONSES OF TALL FRAME-SHEAR WALL STRUCTURES BY COMBINED QR AND SPLINE WEIGHTED RESIDUAL METHOD

  • In this paper, QR method and spline weighted residual method are combined to solve seismic responses of tall frame-shear wall structures. The dynamic equations of structures are established by QR method at first, and then solved by spline weighted residual methhd. Accordingto the computational scheme set up in this paper, the number of unknowns has nothing to do with the number of elements as well as that of floors of structures. The method presented in this paper can easily be carried out with a micro-computer.
