ADAPTIVE CONTROL AND IDENTIFICATION OF NONLINEAR VIBRATING STRUCTURES

  • Identification and control are the two main components of the adaptive active control of vibrating structures. In this paper, an algorithm of stochastic adaptive active control and identification of the nonlinear vibrating structures under any random excitation is presented, whose features are that the nonlinear vibrating structure is mapped into an equivalent linear structure based on ARMA model and the optimal prediction of d-step-ahead output and the optimal control are separated in linear state.Furthermore, an adaptive (online) identification technique which is called as Conjugate Direction Recursive Prediction Error Method CRPEM is proposed.
