DYNAMIC RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURES WITH INITIAL CRACKS

The random deterioration process of a structural strength is described based on the Paris crack growth law. A procedure to estimate dyniamic reliability and life of structures under consideration of time varying and deteriorating resistance propery is presented. Then the models are applied for a complex structure, and good results are obtained. Finally, the influences of some stochastic parameters such as initial crack length on the reliability are analysed .
