A CONFORMING FIVE-FORCE MODEL OF RECTANGULAR FLAT PANEL IN CLAD CABLE STRUCTURES

  • A five-force model of rectangular panel is proposed with the displacements varying linearly along its sides.The model possesses the advantage that it includes the least number of unknowns,and at the same time ensures the continuity on the boundaries between adjacent panels.This model is applicable to form-finding and analysis of clad cable structures, as well as to analysis of space frames composed of bars and panels.
