Abstract
On the basis of nonlinear strain components of shell with initial geometric imperfections and intrinsic time constitutive theory,the paper calculated the elastoplastic large deformation stress resultant of cooling tower under itself weight,and analyzed the effects of several general imperfections on stress resultant distribution of cooling tower.The results are of important meaning to the global property analysis of practical cooling tower with imperfections,and will provide theoretic foundation for engineering design.
