DESIGN OF STRUCTURE PARAMETERS WITH REQUIRED DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS

As a converse problem of the dynamic analysis of structures, the design of structure parameters to meet the requirements of the prescribed dynamic characteristics is studied in the paper. Given the lowest and the highest natural frequencies, the rotational inertia of the columns of a three-storied building is designed to illustrate the method of the paper. The method is also applicable in the design of vibration modes.
