THE PSEUDO-SHAKEDOWN OF STRUCTURES UNDER REPEATED DYNAMIC LOADS

Based on energy criterion,pseudo-shakedown phenomenon of two-end-fixed beams under repeated dynamic loads is discussed in detail in this paper.It is shown that, the elastic strain energy absorbed in the structure increases with of the plastic deformation of the structure,the structure will reach a pseudo-shakedown state when the possible elastic strain energy to be absorbed in the deformed structure equals to the external work of the dy-namic load in magnitude.
