ELASTIC STABILITY ANALYSIS FOR FRAMES IN SUSPENDED BUILDINGS

  • Suspended building structures can offer big rooms for users.In designing,the elastic stability analysis of huge frame is an important problem.This paer introduces at first a model for calculating critical loads of the frames.The formulas in two special cases are derived to estimate the critical loads with moment distribution method,and some curves are given.Finally,the stability of two kinds of suspension structures are discussed in detail.The method proposed is useful for the design of suspended strctrtes.
