PLATE-TRUSS DECK SECTION FINITE ELEMENT METHOD OF SPATIAL ANALYSIS FOR PLATE-TRUSS COMPOSITE STRUCTURE

  • The present research focuses on the spatial analysis of plate-truss composite stuructures. The influences of local buclding of deck, shear lag, section distortion, warping deformation, twist and shear deformation are taken into account in the analysis. A plate-truss deck section finite element method is proposed in which the spatial local displacements are formulated using transverse finite strips. The method has high accuracy and less degrees of freedom, especially for spatial analysis of large plate-miss composite structures.
