A PRE-PROCESSOR FOR THE DESIGN OF RAFT FOUNDATIONS IN A NETWORK

Engineering design is a kind of group work.When the members of the design group cannot work together face to face, the computer-supported collaborative design in networks is of great significance in engineering practice. This paper presents the modeling of collaborative design for raft foundation. and the development of the system for collaborative design which is supported by Internet and Intranet. An automatic generation method for finite element mesh is given in detail which is suited to collaborative design in networks.
