A NEW METHOD FOR NONLINEAR STABILITY ANALYSIS OF MEMBER STRUCTURES

The concepts of relative stiffness parameter and its derived parameter are iutroduced to reflect the change of the structure stiffness in complete-process analysis. The automatic load incrementation procedures based on this parameter are presented, which are shown to be very successful for the test problems considered.
