MATRIX ANALYSIS OF THIN-WALLED BOX GIRDERS WITH BOTH SHEAR LAG AND SHEAR DEFORMATION

  • The differential governing equations of thin-walled box girders are established based on the minimum potential energy principle. Both shear lag and shear deformation effect are taken into account in present analysis. Numerical results show that the method proposed in this paper gives accurate solutions with relatively less computational efforts.
