  • Based on the Hellinger-Reissner principle, hybrid/mixed finite element method and finite layer element method, a hybrid/mixed quadrilateral laminated shell element is constructed. The element is employed to study the nonlinear stability of laminated shells. Numerical results show that the element is effective and workable.
