  • The dynamic response of the three-point bending specimen has been investigated. The effect of rotatory inertia and shear deformation on the stress intensity factor has been taken into account by means of evaluating the specimen stiffness. The results of dynamic finite element analysis indicate that the precision of the dynamic stress intensity factor is satisfactory.
