COMPRESSIVE STRESS-STRAIN BEHAVIOR OF CONCRETE CONFINED BY CARBON FIBER JACKETS

  • Experimental results of 72 concrete cylinders confined by carbon fiber jackets are introduced. Experimental parameters included plain concrete strength, types of composite as well as jacket thickness. Based on the analysis of the test results, a refined constitutive model of concrete confined by advanced composite materials is presented. The parameters in the model are discussed.
