APPLICATION OF MULTILAMINATE MODEL TO STRESS ANALYSIS OF THE LONGTAN ROLLER-COMPACTED CONCRETE DAM

  • In this paper, the multilaminate material model is used to study a roller-compacted concrete dam. The elasto-plasticity formulas of the multilaminate material model are derived in detail and the nonlinear computational procedures are presented. An approach is suggested to evaluate the normal stiffness of the interface of the Longtan roller-compacted concrete. The finite element analysis of the Longtan roller-compacted concrete dam indicates that the multilaminate material model is promising in the stress analysis of high RCC dams.
