  • Most stress-strain models of FRP-confined concrete under uniaxial loading only consider FRP in tension in the hoop direction.This paper presents a model which takes into account the reduction in confinement modulus of FRP tube under combined axial compression and lateral tension.The results of this model agree well with test results.A parametric study is presented based on the model in this paper.
