ELASTO-PLASTIC DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF DUAL FUNCTIONAL SHEAR WALL WITH BUILT-IN SLITS

  • Based on previous experimental study, an analytical model is proposed for dual functional shear wall with built-in slits. The analytical results are found to agree well with the experimental data. With the dual aseismic structural model and the Takeda slip hysteresis model, the seismic responses of dual functional shear wall with built-in slits are studied by elasto-plastic dynamic analysis method. It is shown that the dual functional shear wall with built-in slits has a better aseismic behavior than the corresponding shear wall with built-in slits.
