FORM-FINDING METHOD OF OBJECTIVE LOCATION FOR LARGE SPAN SUSPENDED CABLE STRUCTURES

  • A new form-finding method, named as form-finding method of objective location, is proposed in this paper. This method is used to perform the form-finding of the large span suspended cable structures and cable domes. Results show that the method is correct and efficient for the form-finding of structures. Therefore, it can be used as a powerful tool for structural form-finding analysis.
