Abstract
The revolving system of large-scale vibration mills is simplified into a three rotor system which is joined by two flexible coupling. The motion equations of the flexible linking system that is excited by shock moment are established and the torsional shock response of the system is studied. It is found that reducing the torsional stiffness and increasing the damping of the flexible coupling can decrease the torsional shock response of rotor system.
