AN OVERVIEW ON BRAKE VIBRATIONS AND NOISE

The problem of brake vibrations and noise has been studied by many researchers in a variety of ways due to its importance and complexity. A systematic review is given in this paper focusing on the recent research work in this field. First, the different studies on mechanism, theoretical modeling and analysis of brake noise are presented. Second, the mechanism explanations, theoretical analysis methods and other related questions are analyzed and commented. Finally, a summary is given and some suggestions are put forward for future research.
